All memberships have been cancelled. Thank you to everyone who hung in there and helped us out while we sought legal help.

Unfortunately, it looks like we will not be coming back anytime soon. To be compliant with the new laws, we would have make personal information public, which could potentially put our wonderful models at risk, which we will not do. Until the law is challenged or changed to include an 'opt-in' function where one can register directly with the government as opposed to openly broadcasting the name and address of the 'Custodian of Records', we will not be back. Hopefully some sense will come back to our elected leaders someday and we can get back to entertaining you with our own brand of bondage fun.
We'd like to thank everyone who's helped us over the years - anyone who's ever bought a membership to the site, the handful of outside photographers who submitted great pictures for us, and especially all of the awesome and sexy models who really made TS what it was.

Twistedsmile.com is temporarily closed while we work on complying with the new "Adult Performer Recordkeeping for U.S. Federal Law 18 USC 2257".  This new law is very complicated and we need legal consultation to make sure we are in full compliance before the site can go back up. We have already made some contact for legal help, but if any of our fans out there are attorneys, please feel free to contact us at TSMILE77@yahoo.com

If you're not familiar with the new law, there's lots of info about it available on the web. Basically, it is a way for the government to verify that anyone appearing on an adult website is over 18 years old. We completely support this goal. The problem is, of course, in the details. The way the law is setup you could very easily be charged with a felony (meaning prison time) even if you've never worked with anyone under 18 years old. Keeping your records in a way different from the way the law states is a felony.

We'd like to make it very clear that we've never worked with anyone under the age of 18 years old and we have the records to prove it. But until we're sure that our records are in order in a way that satisfies the US governmentt, the site will be down. We are all working very hard on this and hope to be back soon.

 Perhaps you're asking yourself: "Gee, Twistedsmile.com, What can I do to help?"

Well, if you're a member, you can stay a member. It's as simple as doing nothing and allowing your account to rebill. This will help us pay the legal bills and hopefully get back in business soon. If that doesn't appeal to you, we understand if you
need to cancel now.
